What is the minimum software setup required for ShortcutMe?

1- Convenience Key Setup: ShortcutMe works best and more efficiently when you assign both convenience keys (side keys) to it. This will allow you to access your shortcuts from anywhere by just clicking a convenience key, and let you to multiple click side keys from anywhere to launch your Multi-Click Shortcuts.

Convenience keys can be assigned by going to

BlackBerry Home Screen > Options > Screen/Keyboard

and setting "Right Side Convenience Key Opens" and "Left Side Convenience Key Opens" to ShortcutMe.

(Convenience keys can later on, in ShortcutMe, be assigned to launch 3 applications each: ShortcutMe>Menu/BB Key>"MultiClick Config" )

2- Permission Settings: Set all ShortcutMe's permissions to Allow

Permissions can be set by going to:

BlackBerry Home Screen>Options>Advance Options>Applications

And then find and highlight ShortcutMe, click BB or Menu key and then click on Edit Permission, set all to Allow and save it.

3- Activate ShortcutMe: When you purchase and download ShortcutMe, you need to activate it with your license key, otherwise you are just running a trial version that will time out after 7 days

To activate your ShortcutMe, you need to enter your license key in the Common Config. page of ShortcutMe.

(ShortcutMe > BB/Menu key > "Common Config.")
